About us

Kickstart Coffee Company has always been a shared vision between founders Jamie and Ray—an idea built on friendship, creativity, and a lifelong connection to motorcycle culture. Growing up immersed in the vintage motorcycle scene, they developed a deep respect for craftsmanship, individuality, and the communities that form around shared passions.

As a new generation of riders emerged, they saw a need for something more than just a place to meet—a space where everyone was welcome. A place to connect with a new riding partner, talk shop about the latest build, or share art, music, and ideas. That vision first took shape as 518 Motorcycles, a grassroots social media community that brought people together around a shared love of bikes and culture.

Through that journey, Jamie and Ray connected with Mike Milliron, owner of Iron Coffee Co. What began as a friendship quickly grew into an appreciation for coffee and its ability to anchor a community. They saw the same values reflected in both worlds: craft, patience, personal expression, and connection. Coffee, like motorcycles, is deeply personal—yet it brings people together.

Kickstart Coffee Company was built at that intersection. By roasting our own coffee, we are able to stay hands-on with the process from start to finish—focusing on quality, consistency, and intentional flavor profiles. This approach allows us to honor the craft in the same way builders do in the motorcycle world: with care, precision, and pride in the final product.

More than a coffee shop, Kickstart Coffee Company is a community space rooted in supporting local artists, musicians, makers, and small businesses. It serves as a meeting place for creatives, riders, neighbors, and visitors alike—designed to strengthen local culture and foster meaningful connections.

Every cup poured and every space created is intentional. Kickstart Coffee Company is committed to community-based growth, collaboration, and creating an environment where local voices are celebrated and everyone has a seat at the table. It’s a place fueled by passion, built on craft, and driven by the belief that strong communities start with shared spaces.
